I am an operations manager and accounting administrator who provides day-to-day operational support for a Sacramento-based suicide-prevention foundation. I was born on a military base in the Philippines, and my family relocated to California in 1994. I draw on my background in operations and administration to build the back-office infrastructure that allows the foundation’s founder to concentrate on sharing his message.
In 2018, I experienced one of the greatest losses of my life when my father passed away. That period plunged me into severe depression, and for a time I felt hopeless. After trying several therapists, I finally found one who truly listened, and with treatment I found a path forward. That lived experience informs my commitment to organizations that support mental-health awareness and suicide prevention.
I met Kevin Berthia in 2019 through Genesis Church’s Millennial group in Sacramento. Touched by his openness about his own struggles and the role of human connection in survival, I joined him when he launched his foundation in 2020. Since its inception I have created invoices, assisted with contracts, maintained and updated operational documents, and handled administrative systems so the foundation can focus on outreach, education, and saving lives.
